As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to be sure to thank all of the Holy Rosary Academy family and all of our faithful supporters for all you have done to welcome me as the new Principal this year. The HRA family has always been a close-knit community; this year is no exception. Your smiles and greetings edify me daily. The courteousness and good work ethic of the students fill me with gratitude. The support of the parents and the donors as well as the selfless work of the faculty and staff humble me. Know that all of you will be in my prayers in a special way this holiday.
Enjoy the time off, the snow, the food, and most especially the time you spend with family and friends. As we recall the historical basis for this holiday and lift a glass to the efforts of our forefathers to found this nation in freedom, let us pray for our religious and secular leaders that they may lead us selflessly and prudently. Further, let us always remember to pray for our beloved Dominicans from Holy Family Cathedral and Fr. Barrand from St. Nicholas of Myra for bringing us the sacraments to help us grow in wisdom, virtue, and grace. Finally, we must thank God, the Blessed Mother, and the angels and saints for their constant protection of this campus.
Happy Thanksgiving greetings to one and all.
