Dear HRA Parents,
I have been concerned that the consecutive days of rain might make the Thunderbird Falls trip a danger for the students. The trail will likely be slick and thick with mud. Consequently, I am editing the trip to a local walk/drive to the Valley of the Moon Park and over to Westchester Lagoon along the coastal trail. The ground will be firm under our feet and much less dangerous.
I hope that the parent chaperones will continue to come to help transport students and to walk and talk with the students and faculty. We will leave at 12:30 and return by 3:10 P.M. Be sure that your child has proper rain gear to wear over the P.E. uniform.
Looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow.
